What the hell has Rita Ora brought with her to the Love Island villa?

Rita Ora will be performing at a Love Island pool party during tonight’s episode of the ITV dating show, and she packed something unusual for the work trip.

The male contestants usually take along their expensive trainers, and the women take heels, but Rita, 32, likes to do things a little differently.

She wore on-trend cowboy boots for the performance and posed in a pair of Dior knee-high fencing boots. So far, so normal.

However, the final piece of footwear was less glamorous and more health-conscious.

The singer wore Normatec leg compression recovery boots, which cost £899 and also must have taken up a fair bit of room in her suitcase.

The boots are described as harnessing ‘dynamic air compression’, which allows regular users to ‘advance your wellness, recover faster, improve your training, and maximize your performance.’

The boots will squeeze on the user’s legs and then release – this pulse technology is meant to help increase circulation, revive muscles, and reduce swelling.

The device has previously been used by elite athletes, so we’re sure would have helped Rita glide around her fun performance of single Praising You.

She also treated them to a medley of other hits following the release of her new album You & I. The class of 2023 are a lucky bunch to get Rita and Ne-Yo. We might stop buying gig tickets, and instead just apply for Love Island every year.

Speaking of the experience Rita said: ‘Guys my dream has come true. Obviously I love watching the show.’

While being interviewed on This Morning by hosts Demort O’Leary and Alison Hammond she added: ‘It was so hot and I sweating in places I didn’t know I could sweat from, but I was so happy to be there.

‘I was supposed to stay on the stage but I wanted to get up and close.’

She was able to have quick chats with the reality stars and tell Jess Harding that she was a ‘really good girl’.

‘They were asking questions about what going on outside but I couldn’t tell them anything,’ she remarked.

Rita Ora performs in the villa with Tyrique, Ella, Ouzy, Kady, Jess, Sammy, Whitney, Lochan, Ella B, Amber, Mitchel, Josh and Abi.

Although Rita got the group in a party atmosphere, the mood quickly shifted when host Maya Jama arrived to tell them the results of the public vote.

Maya, 28, first lets the cast know who is the most popular couple, before adding: ‘We’re going to do things a little bit differently this time – you know we love a plot twist.

‘I have some more news that might not be that great. The three couples with the least amount of votes will be vulnerable and at risk of being dumped from the island tonight.’

Could this mean the most popular couple may have some power?

Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
