9 students of BVRTSE present at TED Ed – Times of India
Each of these young speakers addressed diverse and compelling topics, delving into the profound significance of music, the art of effective communication, time management, the indomitable power of resilience, the often-overlooked issue of teenage depression, strategies for overcoming nervousness, and ways to safeguard against the perils of financial scams. The TED Ed platform served as an ideal medium for these emerging change-makers to articulate their perspectives on pressing issues that resonate with the global community.
The event was graced by the presence of Swapnali Vishawajeeet Kadam, the school’s chairperson, who has been a guiding force in shaping the school’s educational philosophy, Dhaval Mehta, co-founder of TNI Career Counselling and Esther Indurkar, a veteran communication coach, corporate trainer, and a renowned TED-x speaker.
Kadam said, “This event was not just a demonstration of intellectual prowess but also an embodiment of the school’s commitment towards the holistic development of its students. By encouraging them to engage with real-world issues and providing a platform for expression, BVRTSE is nurturing future leaders and change-makers.”
The TED Ed event exemplified the essence of TED-Ed’s mission, which is to ignite and celebrate the ideas of teachers and students across the globe. It serves as an attestation to the power of education and innovation when combined with the unwavering determination of young minds.
Kadam added, “It showcased the potential of the youth to drive change and inspire others through their ideas and words. This event was not just a stepping-stone in the academic journey of these young speakers but also a significant milestone in the school’s ongoing commitment to nurturing well-rounded, thoughtful, and visionary individuals.”
