DETROIT — Chevrolet is freshening the Trailblazer subcompact crossover with new exterior features and interior technology. It’s also raising the starting price by $1,000.
Updates for the 2024 model include the front fascia, grille details and exterior lighting, Chevy said Wednesday. Inside, an 11-inch touch screen and 8-inch driver information screen are now standard on all trims. The Trailblazer also will come in two new colors: Copper Harbor Metallic and Cacti Green.
The RS and Activ trims will have a two-tone roof available. The RS exterior styling includes blacked-out features, a mesh grille and 19-inch wheels, while the Activ will have off-road capabilities built into its tires, shocks and dampers, Chevy said.
All trims will come standard with automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning and other advanced driver-assistance systems. Adaptive cruise control is an option on the LT, Activ and RS trims.
The 2024 Trailblazer, which will go on sale in the fall, starts at $24,395 including shipping, according to Chevy. Chevy will continue to import the crossover from South Korea.
Chevy brought back the Trailblazer in 2020 as a subcompact, slotting between the Trax and the larger Equinox . The name previously had been used on a midsize SUV last built in the 2009 model year.
