There has been much talk about Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda’s much-anticipated debut for a long time. According to reports, the trio will make their feature film debut in Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film. The Archies is based on the popular comic book series. Fans have been waiting for a long time to see Suhana, Khushi, and Agastya on the big screen, and according to a recent update, The Archies has finally hit the floors today. Producer Reema Kagti announced the news on social media.

Reema took to Instagram to share a photo of a clapboard with details about the first episode of The Archies. Reema and Zoya will reportedly co-produce the film. The post was captioned by Reema as, “#Archie’s #shootstarts #TigerBaby’s first solo production #partnerincrime @zoieakhtar @Netflix.” Farhan Akhtar quickly re-shared the post on his Instagram story and wished the team well.

In November of last year, Zoya announced the project. She has yet to make an official announcement about the film’s cast. According to media reports, the film will be shot in Ooty and the surrounding hill stations. In March, the trio was also spotted on the set of the film, reportedly for a costume trial. Though the cast has not been officially announced, Suhana is expected to play Veronica Lodge, while Khushi and Agastya will play Betty Cooper and Archie Andrews, respectively.
