Warwick Castle is also home to the world’s first Zog-themed attraction.
The new attraction, which opened in Spring this year, is based on the best-selling books by author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler.
Little ones can enter Zog’s world, featuring colourful dragons, crawl tunnels, dragon wing zip wires and rope swings.
The Quest For The Golden Star is an interactive 3D trail featuring five fun lessons from Madame Dragon’s school, where kids can join Zog by trying to be the best fire-breathing students they can be.
Kids will also get the chance to meet some of their favourite characters, including the dragon himself, Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout.
The breaks include an overnight stay, one-day entry to the Warwick Castle, free breakfast and free parking.
Families are spoiled for choices when it comes to accommodation, from themed glamping to lodges and tower suites.
Medieval-themed glamping stays cost from £189 per family (£47pp a night) on selected dates in July and September.
The themed glamping tents come equipped with a double bed, two single beds and a storage chest.
The more luxurious King’s tents are also available at an extra cost, featuring a four-poster bed, two single beds and an outdoor canopy with a table and thrones.
Lodges are also a good option, they come with a private terrace and medieval-inspired decor. The lodges are in the woodland grove and linked by wooden walkways.
The Tower Suites also feature a luxurious four-poster bed, stunning tapestries, and lavish decorations to make you feel like royalty.
All Tower Suites bookings also include champagne on arrival, a private tour of the Castle, afternoon tea in the Conservatory Tea House and free drinks during your stay.
From July 23 to September 4, there will be a number of unique live shows and experiences, such as the UK’s largest birds of prey show, The Falconer’s Quest and the Wars of the Rose Live show.
The Wars of the Rose Live show features stunts, tricks and showmanship with special effects, squeezing the 32-year conflict into a 32 minutes entertaining show.
For more activity-filled staycations, Chessington has glamping, theme park tickets and free breakfast from £65pp this summer.
While Thorpe Park has overnight stays from £74pp this year, including park tickets and breakfast, and Pontins has breaks available from £7pp a night.
