Woman shows how to turn any bra into a backless one with support

In a world where backless tops and low cut dresses are just about everywhere, finding the right bra can be a nightmare.

While strapless and multi-way bras are marketed as the solution, they can be uncomfortable, unsightly and unflattering.

The dream would be to wear our trusty T-shirt bras freely – but sadly, straps ruin the entire look.

Thankfully, in today’s world there are hacks aplenty.

Back in June, we found a strapless bra hack that works on bras with clips – but now we’ve discovered a trick that will turn any bra in your arsenal into a backless dream.

Kristina Kacheeva shared her genius knowledge on TikTok in a video that has now been viewed more then 5.1 million times.

Taking a bra she already owned, Kristina starts by cutting out the strap of the ‘back part of your bra’ with scissors.

Next she sews the back strap of her bra to the piece which previously held the back strap, or the top of where the underwire ends.

If you can’t sew, this part can also be glued on.

Do this on the other strap and within minutes you will have a supportive strapless bra to wear with your most favourite pieces.

Kristina modelled the bra over a plain white T-shirt to show viewers how it sits on the body. The bra hooks around the shoulders using the support of the original cups.

She also advises people to use body tape if they are in need of some extra support.

Although the hack seems foolproof, those in the comments were torn about its effectiveness.

‘This doesn’t work. I’ve done it before. If really doesn’t feel comfy and never stays in the right place,’ wrote one user.

‘36DD here. This would not work for me,’ added another.

On the other hand, some believed it was a trick they would continue using.

‘Wow great idea,’ commented an impressed viewer.

While another noted: ‘If you’re an A, it’s good.’
