Willie Revillame did not mince his words as he addressed the critics of ALLTV, the TV network of Manny Villar-owned Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc. (AMBS), following speculations that it will temporarily stop airing some of its programs.

Reports of some of ALLTV’s programs taking a break from the air have been circulating earlier this weekend, after the network had allegedly informed its talents regarding the supposed halting of its shows due to lack of advertisers and low ratings. The network uses the frequency previously owned by media conglomerate ABS-CBN.

Following the speculations, Revillame appealed to the viewers to support the programs of ALLTV in a Feb. 4 episode of his show “Wowowin”. The host, however, didn’t confirm whether some of the network’s shows will take a break from airing or not.

(For everyone’s information, I hope “Wowowin” doesn’t go off air because it helps the government. Not just the government, it helps those in need. Then once you hear speculations about it getting taken off the air, you’re happy? Are you happy that we don’t get to help other people?)

The “Wowowin” host urged bashers to pray for ALLTV’s programs instead of criticizing them.

Sana hindi ganun, diba,” he said.

(You should be praying for ALLTV’s programs to continue. Many of you would accuse us of being arrogant just because there are reports of us going off air? It’s like you’re happy that the programs that bring joy and help to others will be gone. I hope you’re not like that, right?)

Revillame also stressed that “Wowowin” is a show that helps people in need, and is not an avenue for him to get into politics.

“Ako naman, willing namang tumulong kasi sobrang blessed namin. Hindi naman sana ganun. Siyempre, you have to understand nagsisimula pa lang ang ALLTV, nagsisimula pa lang ho kami. Sanggol pa lang ito eh,” he said.

(For me, I’m willing to help because we’re very blessed. Don’t think otherwise. Of course, you have to understand that ALLTV is new. We’re just starting out. It’s like the network is at its infant stage. Of course, there are no commercials because we don’t have any reach. We don’t have any signal, that’s why it’s still on our first steps. I hope you pray for the network to be successful so a lot of programs will be made. You will see more good things, right? Let’s set aside politics. There are a lot of truths that you have to know about our frequency. If only you know the truth. I just don’t want to talk because I don’t want to speak for those in charge.)

Villar, as well as AMBS founders Bobet Vera and Jinji Buhain are yet to issue a statement about the status of ALLTV’s programs, as of this writing.

ALLTV has a total of four programs under its belt since its launch in September 2022, namely, “Wowowin”, talk show “Toni” hosted by Toni Gonzaga, “M.O.M.S: Mhies on a Mission” hosted by Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, Ruffa Gutierrez, and Ciara Sotto, and “Kuha All!” hosted by Anthony Taberna. EDV
