HORSE RACING legend Frankie Dettori will compete in the Epsom Derby on Saturday.
It will be the final time the Italian will ride in the Derby as he seeks a fairytale ending to his last campaign in the saddle.
The racing icon’s final ever competitive ride is set for Champions Day at Ascot on October 21st.
Dettori will also ride Soul Sister in the Epsom Oaks on Friday, the day before the Derby.
The 52-year-old rode the three-year-old bay filly to victory in the Musidora at York in May.
What horse is Frankie Dettori riding at the Epsom Derby?
Dettori will ride the John Gosden-trained horse Arrest in this year’s Epsom Derby.
The Italian has already ridden the three-year-old colt once this season in Chester.
Dettori was victorious on Arrest in the Boodles Chester Vase Stakes on May 10th.
