‘We lost dad without warning’ Eamonn Holmes pays family tribute after heartbreaking loss

GB News: Eamonn Holmes rages at council tax rises

Eamonn Holmes, 62, has taken to Instagram to share a snap with fans showing his late father. In the caption, the GB News host wrote that he was happy to say that his father lived through his five sons.

Eamonn showed a photo of his father, Leonard Holmes, at a young age, before his death in 1991.

Along with the photo, he wrote a short caption explaining the kind of person Leonard was during his life.

He said he was a “model father” and a kind man.

The GB News presenter wrote: “We lost Daddy without warning 31 years ago tomorrow.

“A Great character, a model Father and a kind man.

“Happy to say he lives on in his 5 Sons. RIP Leonard Holmes . Never forgotten.”(sic)

Eamon has five brothers, Leonard, Colm, Conor and Brian.
