Watch speedy lorry pull out in front of car driver on dual carriageway

A SHOCKING video showing a fast-moving lorry pulling out in front of a car driver on a dual carriageway has gone viral on social media – and most viewers are divided on who’s to blame.

The lorry signalled to change to the other lane, but there wasn’t enough space to perform the manoeuvre.

The lorry starts to move to the right line at the start of the video, but the dash cam car nearly smashes into the back of the truck.

The driver filming the video sounds the car’s horn to alert the lorry driver to what had just happened.

The driver of the dashcam said: “F***** lorry.”

User @cartricked uploaded the video to TikTok, captioning the video: ‘Who was at fault.’

The video went viral on TikTok with more than 458,000 views and 600 comments.

It’s possible that the lorry driver didn’t see the car in the right lane because of a blind spot.

Trucks have blind spots immediately in front, directly behind, beside the driver’s door and a significant area on the passenger side.

If you cannot see the truck driver’s reflection in his or her side mirror, you are in the truck driver’s blind spot and they cannot see you.

And viewers on social media are divided.

One said: “Lorry is at fault. Indicators don’t give you the right of way and he failed to check the mirrors.

Another said: “It was the car’s fault. Lori had his blinker on.”

A third pointed out: “The car failed to keep a distance from the vehicle in front of them.”

This comes after a shocking video showed the moment a truck driver loses it with a cyclist and forced him off the road.

Plus, a lorry driver peers helplessly out of his truck as it lies on its side in a ditch in Somerset.
