Watch: Lightning fast MS Dhoni’s big role in dismissing Shubman Gill

The combination of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni gave CSK their first breakthrough and that too of Shubman Gill. A fuller length ball from Jadeja drew Gill forward and the turn takes it past the outside edge. Dhoni was lightning fast behind the stumps. And whipped the bails off in a flash. Shubman Gill scored 39 off 20 balls. Gill’s fellow opener Wriddhiman Saha was still going strong and was unbeaten at 47 as Gujarat Titans scored 91 for 1 at 10.2 overs.

With rains in mind, Chennai Super Kings skipper M.S. Dhoni elected to bowl first after winning the toss. Gujarat have extended their fairytale journey, which began with a title win in their debut season last year at the same venue.
