Two new Love Island bombshells coming to rock the boat – but there’s a twist
Just days after Zara Lackenby-Brown and David Salako joined Winter Love Island as spicy bombshells, two newcomers are set to become the new kids on the block.
However, there’s more to these new islanders than meets the eye, as it turns out they’ve previously been on different versions of the reality show before.
Shortly after David became the first contestant to be dumped from the villa in South Africa, following Lana Jenkins’ decision to save Will Young from elimination in the recoupling ceremony, the programme had some exciting news to share.
New stars Aaron Waters and Jessie Wynter will be making their arrivals on Sunday night’s episode, having both previously starred on different seasons of Love Island Australia in the past.
Aaron, 25, who works as a model and content creator and is from Melbourne, competed on the Aussie version of the programme in its third series in 2021.
He revealed what he learnt from his previous time on the show, stating: ‘In terms of dating, I’ve learnt that it’s not always what meets the eye. Attraction is one thing, but making a connection and being able to build something with somebody is another.’

He added: ‘When I was in the Love Island Australia villa, I didn’t open myself up to other opportunities that I could’ve possibly had.
‘This time round I want to be testing the waters by being open-minded and giving everyone a chance. In terms of my experience in the previous villa, I went in there wanting to be myself and I can truly say I felt comfortable in myself in every way so I’d never change it.’
Jessie, on the other hand, is 26 and works as a personal trainer and influencer.
Hailing from Tasmania and living in Sydney, she was on Love Island Australia in series two in 2019, and revealed she’s been single ‘for quite some time’.
Addressing her split from fellow Love Island Australia star Todd Elton, she said: ‘I’d been on the show for quite some time before he came on, so I feel like the relationship was slightly unbalanced in that way – he knew a lot more about me than I knew about him.
‘When we got out of the villa I thought everything was great and fun, however I just don’t think we were both on the same page.’
Several fans expressed their excitement over Aaron and Jessie joining the UK show, with one tweeting: ‘OMG now that’s what you call bombshells I can’t wait to see Jessie & Aaron shake the villa up.’
‘Actually excited for these bombshells,’ someone else admited, as another remarked: ‘The two new bombshells coming on Sunday night are just on a different level.’
Love Island is set to return on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
