Top 5 Upcoming Leaked Genshin Impact Characters & Their Release Date

Genshin Impact‘s upcoming characters are always one of the most talked-about aspects in the community.

Since its release back in 2020, Genshin Impact has established a cult for itself. The game has amassed over 40 million players and continues to grow over the months. We have witnessed several updates in the past year, adding a plethora of new content in the game.

Quite recently, the 2.3 Update live stream was held, which gave players an insight into what to expect from the game. We will be getting two new characters, Gorou and Itto, along with a range of other stuff. There is also a new gadget, known as the Omni-Ubiquity net, which allows you to catch various animals and place them in your Serinitea Pot.

As players are waiting for the 2.3 Update to drop, many are wondering which are the upcoming characters in the game.

Top 5 Upcoming Leaked Genshin Impact Characters

Yunjin

The first position in this list belongs to none other Yunjin, as she is slated to arrive very soon as per leaks, in the 2.4 Update to be precise. Yunjin has been mentioned in the game by characters such as Hu Tao, Keqing, Ningguang, Xingqiu, Xinyan, and Zhongli. Currently, the weapon and vision are unknown, but it is speculated that Yunjin is an Anemo character.

Shenhe

Another character that is speculated to arrive in the 2.4 Update, Shenhe is being highly anticipated by fans of the game. There was a lot of ambiguity around Shenhe’s arrival in the 2.4 Update, but recent leaks have pretty much confirmed that she will be coming in 2.4. Shenhe has been mentioned by Chongyun, Ganyu, Hu Tao, Xiao, Ningguang and Xingqiu.

Yae

If you are an avid Genshin Impact fan, you might have been well aware of the fiasco when everyone believed that Yae will be coming out in the 2.2 Update, but eventually, miHoYo pulled off a surprise and she wasn’t a part of the update. While the reasons are still unknown, multiple leaks hint that it will release in the 2.5 Update.

Ayato

The penultimate character in our list is Ayaka’s elder brother, Kamisato Ayato. We have heard quite a lot about the character in the game, with some NPCs praising his sword and polearm skills, hinting towards his weapon of choice. Leaks have stated that Ayato is a Hydro Sword character. As far as the release date is concerned, one leak had hinted towards a 2.6 Update release but that leak was later taken down.

Scaramouche

Finally, we have the highly anticipated Scaramouche, aka Balladeer. A recent AMA with leakers had hinted towards the fact that the character will indeed be playable, although one shouldn’t expect it to arrive anytime soon. We witnessed Scaramouche in full glory during the  Omnipresence over Mortals quest, but it remains to be seen when he marks his arrivalarrives in the game.
