Say goodbye to textured skin and hello to the glow.

When celebs hit the red carpet, they manage to do so with a flawless base that looks heaven sent.

We’ve tried – and failed – to achieve this glowy look and now finally, TikTok has answered our prayers.

And this hack comes from a celebrity mak up artist, so you know it’s one you need to try out.

Savannah Rae Collins took to Tiktok to share her celebrity makeup artist friend’s secret to giving her clients the dewy look on the red carpet.

Savannah said: ‘A friend of mine does makeup for celebrities and I know that we all have the same question.

‘I was like “Girl, how do they look so good on the red carpet?” and she was like “Listen it is three steps.”‘

‘You start with a really good hydrating primer, she recommended the Becca Backlight Primer (no longer available) but she said if you’re in a pinch this Elf primer will work just as well.

‘So you do a lot of primer and then you’re going to mix together two products on your skin.

‘She said most celebrity makeup artists swear by the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. I personally really love this.’

‘She then said mix it with a skin tint, not a foundation.

‘So you literally just put this all over and before you blend it in, you’re going to put on your skin tint. You do not need much of this at all.

‘Then you’re going to use a really damp beauty blender.’

Savannah was suitably impressed with the results saying: ‘Oh my god, like my texture is gone, and do you see this glow? So there you have it.’

The video has racked up nearly 500,000 likes on Tiktok and has been saved nearly 110,000 times.

We have to admit, we’ve tried this hack ourselves and the end result is a gorgeous hydrated glow that doesn’t look cakey.

Remember that if you have oily skin then set the products accordingly to ensure the look lasts.

One user commented: ‘More hydration less foundation is the key.’

Charlotte Tilbury commented: ‘You’ve got the TILBURY GLOW darling!’

She certainly is glowing and her look has gone viral on Tiktok for a good reason.
