The annual Forbes Billionaires list compiles 2,640 of the world’s richest people, 28 less than last year as fortunes fluctuate.
The most notable absentee is rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West, who has spent much of the last year under intense scrutiny after making multiple controversial comments.
The rapper was dropped by Adidas from a brand deal reportedly worth £1.2billion, which is likely the biggest contributor to Kanye’s disappearance from the list.
Business Insider estimates that the rapper is currently worth $400million due to his music catalogue and extensive real estate portfolio as well as some investments.
His ex-wife Kim Kardashian, however, is ranked 2,259th with a net worth of $1.2billion (£960million), mostly from her shapewear brand Skims.

Rihanna, 35, made history last year when she joined the list as the youngest self-made female billionaire and has maintained her rank for the second year in a row with a hefty $1.4billion (£1.12billion) net worth.
The Barbados-born singer has made most of her fortune not through her success in the music industry but rather through her globally-renowned Fenty cosmetics collection and her Savage X Fenty underwear range.
The success of Savage X Fenty also helped Rihanna’s business partner, Bernard Arnault, 74, surpass Elon Musk to secure his position as the richest person alive with a net worth of $211billion (£168billion).
As a result, the new owner of Twitter dropped to second place with a $180billion (£144billion) net worth, $39billion (£31billion) less than last year.
Tiger Woods made his triumphant debut on the list with $1.1billion (£880million) ranking him 2,405th on the Billionaires list and 14th on the list of highest-paid athletes.
Another A-list sportsman on the list this year is basketball icon LeBron James, 38, who is making his Forbes Billionaire debut with $1billion (£800million) net worth.
Other notable names on the star-studded 2023 list is rapper Jay-Z, who is the only major star to have seen his value increase since last year now placing him at 1,127th.
World-renowned TV personality Oprah Winfrey, 69, marks the start of her second decade on the list, having made her debut in 2003 at the age of 49 and is now currently worth $2.5billion (£2billion).
