Thorpe Park launches £99 annual passes – and you’ll save more than £12k

THORPE Park has announced annual passes for £99, which could save more than 12 grand, if you’re a huge fan.

The park’s gold annual pass includes special offers for holders, and works out at the same price as paying for two visits and getting 188 free, if you go every day.

The pass grants visitors theme park entry, access to the island and over 30 rides, attractions and live events for the entire season.

The pass provides free car parking all season and the chance to bring friends for less as well.

There’s also a 20 per cent discount off Thorpe Shark Cabin stays, Thorpe Park food, drink and retail merchandise and exclusive offers throughout the year.

For super fans who would like to use their pass every day that they can, it could save them as much as £12,061, according to the park.

The gold annual pass is currently available at the reduced rate of £99, but you’ll have to be quick as the deal is only available until January 12.

After that, it reverts to the full price of £119.

The park has also launched a silver annual pass with an introductory price of £69.

The pass is valid for 12 months from the date of redemption and offers more than 150 days of theme park entry, 20 per cent discount off Thorpe Shark Cabin stays, Thorpe Park food, drink and retail merchandise.

That offer is also available until January 12, before reverting to its full price of £99.

Thorpe Park is home to the fastest rollercoaster in the UK, Stealth, and The Swarm, the only winged coaster in the country.

The park also has water rides, such as the 85-foot Tidal Wave and Saw – The Ride, the world’s first rollercoaster with a horror theme.

Kid-friendly attractions include teacups, bumper cars, and Rumba Rapids, a water raft ride down the turbulent waterway of Thorpe Park Resort.

Thorpe Park has also unveiled plans for a brand-new rollercoaster that would be the biggest in the UK.

The new 236ft ride would be the tallest rollercoaster in the UK, beating the current 213ft record held by the Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach since 1994.

This will be the first new rollercoaster at Thorpe Park since the arrival of The Swarm in 2012.

As well as rollercoasters, the park also hosts award-winning seasonal events, including Mardi Gras, Carnival, Oktoberfest and the UK’s premier Halloween event, Thorpe Park Fright Nights.

This year, the park will be open from March 24 until October 31, 2023.

Meanwhile Disneyland Paris has stays from £224pp in 2023, including park tickets, hotel, spending money and free Disney+.

We’ve also rounded up the best February half-term staycations from £5.90pp a night.
