A UK pub has received rave reviews, with some punters even comparing it to holiday hotspots in Spain.
The soaring cost of flights has got an increasing number of people considering staycations this year, rather than a trip abroad.

Fortunately there are plenty of locations in the UK where holidaymakers can get a similar experience, without the hassle of trip overseas.
One of those places is Whitstable in Kent, with a famous pub overlooking the sea.
The Old Neptune is described online as as “intimate Victorian inn with period decor” that offers “pub-grub, plus live music”.
The Neppy, as it’s known to locals, sits right on Whitstable beach, meaning people can order themselves a cold pint, while sitting looking out to sea.
Customers love the unique experience it offers, with one even comparing it to holiday hotspots further afield.
In a review on TripAdvisor, they wrote: “Table service on the beach patio, with a varied menu and a good selection of beers.
“Went there specifically to try the local gin. and stayed for lunch, the fish selection box. Ideal for a beach side lunch. was just like being on the Costas.”
Another said: “This is the best pub in England by my mark!”
A third added: “We watched the sunset and it felt like we were away abroad!”
It is believed the Old Neptune started out life as a boatyard workshop, before it was washed away by storms.
However, in its place, the Old Neptune beerhouse was built in 1853, which too has been heavily affected by storms over the years.
The building was completely washed away and rebuilt in 1897, made from timber reclaimed from the original building.

The pub’s website says: “The building has warped and twisted over the years owing to its old wooden foundations, however the timber structure seems to accommodate this movement as can be seen in the window frames, the sloping floor and the counter top.”
The pub is far from the only thing to do in Whitstable, with crabbing at the harbour a popular family activity.
There’s also Whitstable museum, the castle and gardens and a playhouse among a number of other attractions in the town centre.
A night in the town can be booked from £26.50 per person.
However, a camping pitch nearby can be found from £10pp per night.
Whitstable isn’t the only town in Kent where people claim that there are beaches that make them feel like they’re abroad.
Mermaid Beach in Folkestone is another such place, with one Tiktoker saying it made her feel like she wasn’t in the UK.
Riya (@ri1ya) visited the seaside resort for a staycation last summer and was blown away.
In a video, she described the destination as: “The one beach in the UK that had me feeling like I was abroad.”
