The real Vikram and Dimple could not get married…. says Vishal Batra about Sidharth and Kiara

Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding was what dreams are made of. They had a beautiful intimate ceremony at the Suryagarh Palace, Jaisalmer and fans were elated about their reunion.

The two worked together in Shershaah which was based on the life and sacrifices made by the Late Captain Vikram Batra and had Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani playing the lead roles. Love blossomed for them on the sets and today they are married.

The late Vikram Batra’s twin brother Vishal attended Sidharth and Kiara’s reception in Mumbai and he was too emotional. He was quoted on a leading entertainment portal, stating, “For me, it was also a feeling that I couldn’t see Vikram’s wedding… It took me through various emotions and being an identical twin, it’s something that can’t be explained in words. We got a message from Kiara, too, saying they are looking forward to us attending the wedding.”

He then went on to say, “The real Vikram and Dimple could not get married, but the reel Vikram and Dimple have, and that is a lovely feeling. Our blessings are with them. They are a lovely couple. They are two wonderful individuals, and I have never interacted with them as stars.”

It is indeed a very special moment and one to be cherished.
