Spain is now welcoming British tourists, so a holiday can go ahead but there are a number of rules in place for anyone arriving from the UK.

Everyone aged 12 and over must be fully-vaccinated (with both doses of two-dose vaccine or one of a one-dose vaccine) at least 14 days before arrival.

From February 1, if your second dose was more than 270 days ago you will have to provide proof of receiving a booster jab.

Brits must also fill in the Spanish Health Control Form before departure and proof of recovery cannot be used as a way of entry.

There are resorts in Lanzarote, Majorca, Gran Canaria and the Costa del Sol where you can simply step outside your room and straight into the wave pools and slides of waterparks.

If you’re looking for more foreign holiday inspiration, we’ve found cheap all inclusive holidays for this summer and there are many cheap package holidays.

For breaks in the UK, holiday parks are offering huge bargains and we’ve found the best UK holiday parks with children’s entertainment and the best holiday parks with outdoor pools.
