The data comes from new research by Bounce, which analysed European cities on factors such as the number of nightclubs and bars, beer prices and even safety ratings.

In the study, Lisbon won the title of greatest party city in Europe.

The Portuguese capital city has a lively environment, various tourist attractions, and a rich history, but it is also renowned for its vibrant nightlife.

Two famous bars and clubs include the ‘Duque da Rua’ and ‘Bar A Parodia’.

But that’s not all. Lisbon was also crowned as the cheapest place to get a beer out of the 14 cities examined.

The city had the lowest average beer costs of just €2.50, which works out at £2.15 per pint.

Lisbon is a great city to visit anytime, thanks to its year-round sunshine and Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and hot summers.

During the spring and summer months, temperatures see highs of 30C, while it cools down in autumn and winter with high temperatures of 18C.

Munich has an honourable mention thanks to the greatest beer festival in the world, Oktoberfest, which is held in the city.

The average beer price is £3.44, while hotel rooms have an average cost of £125 per night.
