Spring always starts in the middle of March and ends in June, although it is during the middle of the year, it opens doors to many opportunities and fresh starts. During springtime, flowers are expected to bloom as it their peak growth time. This is the best time to try planting a spring garden or just a few plants or indulging yourself in potential new hobbies such as cycling, hiking or maybe just having a nice picnic in the park and admire the wonderful cherry blossom trees.

  • Easter is celebrated in spring, and spring used to be referred to as Lent in Old English.  
  • It is the muddiest season.
  • Scents are stronger in the Spring.
  • The days begin to get longer- increased daylight hours.
  • The first day of spring is scientifically called the vernal equinox and this is when the Sun rises in the East and sets in the West exactly.
  • Rabbits, Otters, and Deers usually give birth in the Spring.

As Anita Krizzan once said, ”Spring will come and so will happiness. Hold on. Life will get warmer.” Spring brings hope and happiness, due the long days and increased light – more serotonin is releases into our bodies which arouse hope and brightens our moods.
