The Archies: Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and others serve squad goals in new pics from the set

Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies is perhaps one of the most intriguing upcoming films. It has a cast line-up full of star kids, including Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. Filming for the project is currently underway and pictures from the set, which is in Ooty, have emerged. 

On Suhana Khan’s birthday, which she celebrated on Sunday, May 22, the film’s choreographer, Caesar Gonsalves of the Bosco-Caesar duo, dropped precious pictures of the cast. Sharing photos from dance rehearsals, Caesar wished Suhana a happy birthday. 

In one of the pictures, Suhana, Khushi, Agastya, Yuvraj Menda, Vedang Raina, and Mihir Ahuja can be seen huddled together for a selfie with the choreographer. 

In another picture, the cast members of The Archies are all smiles as they pose for a group photo. And it’s serving major squad goals! 

Ever since the first poster and teaser of The Archies dropped, the film has garnered significant buzz. The Zoya Akhtar-directed film is the official Indian adaptation of the popular Archie comics. It is described as a musical drama set in a hill station.  The official synopsis reads: – A musical experience bursting with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves, and everything young adult, it still promises to have something for every generation. The film has the iconic gang of The Archies’ at the centre of it, and perfectly matches the youthful energy, hope, and excitement of the sixties era.

The Archies will arrive on OTT somewhere in 2023.
