HIGHLAND HUNTER (2.50 Chepstow, nap)
He came from way off the pace to snatch the London National right on the line at Sandown. He had plenty left in the tank after 3m5f there and cut in the ground is ideal.
TAKE YOUR TIME (2.10 Chepstow, nb)
He has really improved since being stepped up in trip by Paul Nicholls. He struck with something in hand at Ffos Las and showed that was no fluke with a gutsy success over course and distance. A 5lb rise in the weights is fair for that effort and his liking for the track is an asset.
FORTESCUE (3.10 Kempton, treble)
He was a fair seventh in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury last time and takes a drop in class here. He signed off last season with wins at Sandown and Perth over this sort of trip.
He’s had a little nudge down the weights and trainer Henry Daly has his horses in better form at the moment.
