Snuggle with a plush
If you want a cuddle buddy for your next Star Wars marathon, we suggest getting an adorable plush toy. Sure, Wookies like Chewbacca are soft and Ewoks are cuddly, but the cutest guy around in Star Wars is undoubtedly Grogu. Colloquially known as “Baby Yoda,” Grogu has captured the hearts of many since he made his debut in the first season of The Mandalorian in 2019. There’s a ton of official merchandise of him, including this 11-inch plush figure.
Watch Star Wars
Disney+ is the place to be if you’re looking to watch all of your favorite Star Wars movies and shows. Since its release in late 2019, many Star Wars shows have premiered on the service including the hit show The Mandalorian, which aired its third season later this year. If all that wasn’t cool enough, then you should know that the second season of the wonderful, animated anthology series, Star Wars Visions, releases today for the fourth!
If you prefer physical media to streaming, or if you just want something to show off your love of the films, you can get a box set of all nine mainline movies to date. From Anakin figuring out his place in the galaxy, to Luke rebelling against the powers that be, to Rey finding out who she is, the Skywalker Saga has it all at a ridiculously low price.
It can be hard to enjoy the original trilogy for purists who want to see the movies as they existed in the 70s and 80s. The only way you can watch episodes IV-VI is via the Special Editions. However, VHS tapes of the original trilogy made before 1997 (when the Special Edition made its debut) feature the original format. If you don’t have a VHS player anymore (or never had one), you’ll be able to find one easily on sites like Amazon.
Build a LEGO set
Ever since Lego began collaborating with Star Wars in 1999 to coincide with the release of The Phantom Menace, the two brands have been closely associated with each other. To date, there are close to 1,000 Lego Star Wars Sets in existence and there are no signs of stopping anytime soon. From the Death Star to the Millennium Falcon, there’s no shortage of blocks to build. To celebrate the occasion, the Lego Store is running several promotions including adding a free X-Wing Starfighter to your purchase when you spend over $40 in Lego Star Wars sets and a free Mini Death Star II when you spend over $150.
Play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
If you’re a Star Wars fan who fancies yourself as a gamer, you’ll be pleased to know there’s a new game to sink your teeth into in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This action-adventure game is the sequel to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and features more customization options as well as a more expansive design.
Make Star Wars treats
It may be hard to notice with all of the space battles going on, but Star Wars features a lot of alien food. If you’re feeling daring and want to create Star Wars-inspired food and treats such as “Glo Blu Noodles” and “ZoochBerry surprise,” you can check out Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook, which features a ton of food inspired by the Galaxy’s Edge location at Disney World. If you want to be a bit more “down to Earth” while still paying homage to the galaxy far, far away, we recommend these cute cookie cutters and this cakelet pan from Williams-Sonoma.
Read a Star Wars book
Beyond shows and games, Star Wars has a breadth of books for you to lose yourself in. There’s something for everyone — from 2021’s Star Wars: Light of the Jedi which delves into an often-unexplored era in Star Wars in the New Republic, to the upcoming reprint of Dark Rendezvous which features the fan-favorite Baby Yoda.
Admire a Star Wars poster
Show off your love of Star Wars by putting up a print depicting the series’ events and characters in your home. Both Etsy and Amazon have dozens of gorgeous Star Wars art prints to choose from. From Force-inspired sunsets to your favorite characters in watercolor, your home will have you feeling like you’re immersed in the galaxy.
Check out a cool art book
The world of Star Wars is objectively beautiful. To really appreciate this beauty in a way you can’t quite do while watching a movie, you can buy one of the franchise’s many artbooks to admire such as The Art of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Get a Star Wars Funko Pop!
If you like Funko Pop!, there are many of these cute vinyl collectibles from the series that you’ll want to get your hands on. Chances are, if there’s a Star Wars character you can think of, they’ll probably have a Funko Pop! or two. There are tons of Funko Pop! options on Amazon, plus—they’re on sale.
Relax with a Star Wars zen garden
Prequel protagonist Anakin Skywalker doesn’t like sand. In his words, “It’s coarse, rough, irritating, and gets everywhere.” But don’t let one man’s justified annoyance stop you from getting your zen on with this sand garden. On sale for May the 4th, this adorable garden depicts Qui-Gon and Darth Maul battling on Tatooine during The Phantom Menace. Relax by raking neat lines while pondering the mystery of the Force.
Dress up like your favorite characters
It’s not easy looking good. Well, unless you’re a Jedi. Known for their humble, iconic attire, Jedi are very recognizable. If you want to dress up as this class of protectors, whether you’re looking to get compliments strolling outside or are watching your favorite Star Wars shows inside in your jammies, here are some Jedi robes you can get from Amazon with many five-star reviews.
Have a saber battle
I guarantee you’ve picked up a stick at one point in your life and pretended it was a lightsaber, complete with “vwish” and “vwoom” sound effects. It’s okay to admit it. That said, if you want to look a bit more dignified when you play pretend, we recommend getting something that looks the part, such as a lightsaber toy from Amazon. Check out one of the many replica lightsabers you can buy that look much more official.
