Sonic the Hedgehog meets Freddie Mercury?
Sega and Two Point Studios have released free Sonic the Hedgehog-themed DLC to its comical medical management title Two Point Hospital. The new update, which is available right now on all platforms, adds a handful of Sonic-themed crossover content as part of The Blue Blur’s 30th-anniversary celebrations.
The Two Point Hospital: Sonic the Hedgehog DLC update includes four costumes for your staff — based on Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose — as well as a selection of decorative items for your hospital, including a Sonic statue, decorative rugs, a Sonic arcade machine, and that most important of hospital equipment… erm… a giant gold ring. This appearance by Sonic and his friends is one of a number of crossovers, appearances, and DLC events planned for Sonic as the publisher celebrates three long decades of anthro action-adventure.
It’s also worth noting that for the next few days, Two Point Hospital and its respective DLC expansions are available at a discounted price on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. So if you’ve had the great management game on your wishlist, today might be a good day to finally book your appointment with Two Point Hospital and its silly science.
