Shocking find on Kmart shelf

Social media users have been left scratching their heads as they searched for the unusual item in a sea of pink Kmart travel mugs.

A baking queen has stunned fans after designing a cake that looked exactly like a Kmart travel mug.

Tegan “Tigga” Maccormack, based in Melbourne, has made all kinds of weird and wonderful creations – Stranger Things themed cakes, ones that look exactly like Harry Potter books and soup cans.

But, she challenged TikTok followers to find the cake she had made hidden among the travel mugs shelf at a Kmart store as her business partner, Katie, filmed.

Thousands of people had a go at guessing.

“This is gonna bother me so much not knowing which one it is as a Kmart worker,” one said.

Another said: “My anxiety dislikes this game but I just can’t look away. I’m so bad at picking it.”

A third said: “The pink animal print between the two with sale stickers on it – it’s much lighter than the others.”

In a following video, Tegan revealed it was a pink cup, with a darker pink band and white lid that was the cake.

She picked it up before heading to the checkout.

A young man stood, processing the items for payment, when Tegan picked up the cake and took a bite out of it.

The worker was stunned.

“That scared the hell out of me!” he said.

Tegan said she was shaking following the exchange.

She also showed how she made the cake using cookie cutters, chocolate ganache and fondant for the base.

“I colour matched this from the real cup so it seamlessly blended in,” she said.

People couldn’t believe how lifelike the cake looked.

“OMG it looked so real,” one said,

Another added: This your best one yet.”

Tegan has been baking cakes for a decade and started her business with Katie, Cake for Days, in 2017.
