There are severe delays on the Altrincham Metrolink line this this afternoon, Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has announced.The organisation says no trams are running from Altrincham to Old Trafford, as of 2.15pm. It’s been caused by a ‘points fault’.Passengers can use tram tickets on four bus services, TfGM added. "Customers can use their tickets and passes on the 245, 263, 255, 256 bus services."The disruption comes after passengers using the Bury line faced days without full service due to overhead wires breaking in a thunderstorm.
