Candidates appearing for the Computer Based Test (CBT) at designated centres in Delhi NCR can download their Admit Card starting from June 13, 2023. The CBT will consist of 150 questions carrying 150 marks and will be conducted in Hindi and English. The duration of the test will be 2 hours, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Admission to the D.El.Ed. course for the year 2023 will be based on the rank/merit obtained in the entrance examination. Eligible candidates meeting the rank/merit criteria and fulfilling the eligibility requirements will be considered for admission.
The rank of each candidate based on the CBT result will be displayed tentatively on June 28, 2023. Candidates will have the option to edit their choices/preferences of DIETs/Institutes to correct any data errors, if needed, from June 30, 2023, to July 2, 2023.
Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) and Diploma in Pre-School Education (DPSE) in Delhi offer abundant opportunities for learning and professional growth. Seats will be provisionally allocated based on the rank obtained by applicants in their respective category and sub-category in the CBT.
The entrance test syllabus includes subjects like General Awareness (Current Affairs), Social Science, General Science, Mathematics (Numerical Ability), General Mental Ability, and English & Hindi, with a specific number of questions allocated to each subject.
