Rylan Clark’s face was a picture after Joe Lycett dropped an X-rated This Morning joke during the second episode of Late Night Lycett.

The presenter, 34, was a celebrity guest on the new Channel 4 programme on Friday, along with This Country’s Daisy May Cooper, 36, Greg James, 37, and actor David Harewood, 57.

Towards the end of the episode, Joe, 34, introduced his guests to a game, hilariously called Finish Me Off.

Before he explained how to play, Joe took aim at the ITV Daytime and said: ‘This next bit is named after a phrase you often hear screamed behind the scenes of this morning, because it’s called Finish Me Off.’

Rylan immediately covered his face with his palms as the fellow guests burst into laughter.

Rylan’s shocked face didn’t go unnoticed by viewers at home either, with one even questioning whether the quip was aimed at This Morning host Phillip Schofield.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: ‘Did anyone else notice how aghast Rylan looked at the idea of people getting “finished off” on This Morning? Makes you wonder if he knows something…’

Another posted: ‘We saw that @Rylan.’

Meanwhile, a third asked: ‘Was that a dig at Philip Schofield?’

Rylan used to be a regular fixture on This Morning, having dropped by the studio to share the latest entertainment news from 2013 before moving up to become a stand-in presenter.

In 2017, however, he announced he was quitting the programme, later citing that he was working 16-hour days.

Late Night Lycett airs Friday at 10pm on Channel 4.
