Rozgar Mela: PM Modi to distribute 71,000 appointment letters on April 13 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hand over about 71,000 recruitment letters to newly admitted employees on Thursday, April 13 through video conferencing and also address these candidates on the occasion, as per the statement released by Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Tuesday. The programme is part of the ‘Rozgar Mela‘ drive, under which 10 lakh people are likely to be offered jobs.
The statement said it was a step towards the fulfillment of the prime minister’s commitment to accord the highest priority to employment in the country.
“The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development,” it added.
Candidates shortlisted from across the country will be joining at various positions including station master, train manager, senior commercial-cum-ticket clerk, constable, inspector, sub-inspector, stenographer, postal assistant, income tax inspector, tax assistant, junior accountant, assistant professor, teacher, nurse, probationary officers, librarian, PA, MTS, etc. under various departments of the Government of India.
The newly inducted employees will also get an opportunity to train themselves via the ‘Karmayogi Prarambh,’ an online orientation programme for new appointees in various departments of the government, the statement added.
