Realme 9 series to launch in India next year, confirms company – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Realme recently launched new Realme 8 series smartphones and its first Android tablet in India. Now the company has revealed some details about its upcoming Realme 9 series. Realme has confirmed that the Realme 9 will come to India next year. The company also confirmed that the smartphone will come with a mainstream processor. The Realme 9 series is expected to come with multiple models, the same as the Realme 8 series.
During the virtual launch event of Realme 8s and 8i smartphones, the company said that it will launch the Realme 9 in India in 2022. The smartphone is expected to come with a new and powerful processor. Realme has also not confirmed whether the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm or MediaTek processor.
Popular tipster Mukul Sharma suggested that Realme is planning to follow the Redmi Note 9 series and is expected to launch Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9A smartphones.
Apart from this no other information about the upcoming smartphone is available right now.
Meanwhile, Realme marked its entry in the Android tablet segment in India with the launch of Realme Pad. The Android tablet comes with a starting price tag of Rs 13,999 and it will be available online on Flipkart and Realme.com starting at 16 September.
Realme Pad comes with a 10.1-inch WUXGA+ display with 2000×1200 pixel resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The device runs Android 11 and sports an 8MP front and rear camera.
