Realme 8s , Realme 8i smartphones launched in India: Price, specs and more – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Realme 8s and Realme 8i smartphones are official in India. Smartphone maker Realme has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of Realme 8s and Realme 8i smartphones. Both the smartphones are powered by MediaTek processors and run Android 11 operating system. Both the Realme 8 series smartphones pack 5,000 mAh battery.
Price and availability
Both the Realme 8 Series smartphones come in two variants. The Realme 8i comes in 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 13,999 and 15,999 respectively. The smartphone comes in Space Black and Space Purple colour options. The smartphone will be available online on Realme.com and Flipkart starting 14 September.
On the other hand, the Realme 8s comes in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants priced at Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999 respectively. Realme 8s will also be available on Flipkart and Realme.com starting 13 September. The smartphone also comes with Flipkart Smart Upgrade plan and customers can purchase it at a starting price of Rs 12,599. Realme 8s can be purchased in Universe Blue and Universe Purple colour options.
Realme 8s specifications
Realme 8s comes with a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The device packs 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB.
Realme 8s runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera with 64MP main sensor, 2MP B&W sensor and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front you get a 16MP selfie camera.
The 5G smartphone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W Dart charging support.
Realme 8i specifications
Realme 8i comes with a 6.6-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2412 pixel resolution. The smartphone display offers 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Realme 8i runs Android 11 operating system and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor.
The smartphone comes in two variants — 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Users can expand the storage further by installing a microSD card. The dual SIM smartphone features a triple rear camera which comprises 50MP main sensor, 2MP portrait camera and 2MP macro camera.
For selfie lovers the smartphone offers a 16MP front camera. Realme 8i houses a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
