The Platinum Party at the Palace was undoubtedly an amazing spectacle as thousands of people watched acts such as Diana Ross, Sir Elton John, Sir Rod Stewart, Diversity and Queen perform some of their greatest hits. While this may be the case, it is fair to say that there was another iconic duo who stole the show.
Her Majesty made a special pre-recorded cameo appearance alongside the much loved British storybook character Paddington Bear and enjoyed a rather chaotic afternoon tea with him – much to the delight of the crowds and The Queen’s own family who were watching from the royal box.
But it would appear that there was another act who attracted a lot of attention from one young royal in particular. Singer Mimi Webb revealed on her TikTok that she has gained a new royal fan in Princess Charlotte.

Among the stars who performed at The Platinum Party at the Palace was singer Mimi Webb. The 21-year-old from Canterbury originally rose to fame on social media app TikTok where she released her debut singles and offered fans an insight into her music.
In a recent upload which she shared with her 1.3m followers Mimi revealed how she prepared for the show and what she got to do afterwards.
The singer described how she had been invited to a reception inside Buckingham Palace after the show and had the opportunity to meet a number of royals.
She went on to say that she spoke to Prince William and he revealed that Princess Charlotte was a big fan of her performance. However, Mimi isn’t the only famous singer who the young princess enjoys listening to.
Prince William spoke about his children’s favourite songs during an appearance on the Apple Fitness+ series, Time To Walk.
He divulged: “What I’ve been amazed by is how much my children already have inherited my family’s love of music. Most mornings there’s a massive fight between Charlotte and George as to what song is played in the morning.
“And I have to, now, basically prioritise that one day someone does this one, and another day it’s someone else’s turn. So George gets his go, then Charlotte gets her go. Such is the, the clamour for the music.”
Talking about the song choice, William explained: “One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira, Waka Waka. There’s a lot of hip movements going along. There’s a lot of dressing up.”
