Police investigating sexual assault release image of man they’d like to trace

Police investigating the sexual assault of a teenage girl in north Manchester have released images of a man they want to identify.

Detectives say they were called at around 11am on Sunday, 9 January to reports an ‘unknown male’ had ‘gained access’ to an address in the Rochdale Road area of Harpurhey.

He then entered the bedroom of a teenage girl living in the home and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The offender then left the address heading towards Harpurhey shopping centre.

Police released three images of a man they are seeking to identify in connection with the attack.

Detectives say the offender is described as a black male, of a muscular build, with a beard and was wearing a black beanie style hat, a scarf, a ‘Nike’ trench coat, grey/blue coloured jeans, and white/light blue ‘Nike Jordan’ trainers.
