While Lee O’Brian has yet to respond to the deportation complaint filed by his estranged partner, actress-comedienne Pokwang, he expressed his love for his father and daughter Malia on social media.
O’Brian took to his personal Instagram page last Sunday, June 18, to pen a Father’s Day greeting to his own father, as he also spoke about how proud he is of Malia.
The post contained a photo of Malia and O’Brian’s father bonding together in what seemed to be a past family trip, and an “I love you dad” letter presumably written by the former.
“Special shout out to my own father who is one of the best in the business of fatherhood…. And to my amazing daughter – who’s made me a proud dada from the moment she arrived,” his caption read.
The actor also greeted his fellow dads in the caption, saying they “guide” their families along the way.
“Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers- whether biological, adoptive, situational or spiritual- for guiding the way,” he said.
The throwback post caught the attention of actor Markus Paterson and content creator Matthias Rhoads, as seen in the comments.
O’Brian’s post comes days after Pokwang filed a deportation complaint and visa cancellation against the former, where the actress-comedienne’s camp claimed that he had been staying in the Philippines for eight years — even if he’s using a tourist visa.
The actor, however, has yet to address his ex-partner’s complaint. EDV
