Pokemon: Misty Returns in the Anime as the Series Draws to an End

The iconic trio of Ash, Misty, and Brock from the Pokémon anime is a part of many fans’ childhood worldwide. They first appeared in the first season of the anime and have been a beloved part of the franchise ever since. Now that Ash’s journey is about to end soon, Misty made her return to meet her old partner after a very long time.

The latest episode of Pokémon: Mezase Pokémon Master has a lot of references to the original anime, even bringing back the soundtrack from the 1997 anime. The episode shows Ash and Misty’s friendship as the two start bickering after their reunion. The chemistry of the duo certainly gave a nostalgic feel, as it felt like nothing has changed in their friendship even after all those years.

Pokémon: Mezase Pokémon Master or “Aim to Be a Pokémon Master” when translated to English is an eleven-episode series that started airing on January 13, 2023. This series is part of the Pokemon Ultimate Journeys: The Series and is the final story featuring Ash and his Pikachu, and it will finish off the Pokémon anime that we have come to know so far for 25 long years. After meeting Misty, Ash will meet Brock and Cilan in the next episode.
