While the world celebrates Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s new relationship, one well known sports channel is facing backlash over a ‘vile’ sex tape rant.

Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take podcast shared a clip which has incensed sports fans and Swifties alike as host Dan Katz launched into his ‘demands’ of Taylor.

It comes after Taylor was spotted at Travis’ Chiefs game against the Jets at the weekend, with the relationship upsetting some football fans.

The hosts of the prominent sports channel joked about how they needed to see a sex tape in order to believe the NFL player and the superstar were actually together.

Katz wrote on Twitter/X: ‘If Taylor Swift is going to be taking over our Sunday’s I’m going to need to see a sex tape. These are my demands.’

He and his co-host Eric Sollenberger, known as PFT commentator, discussed what sexual act they would want to see the 12-time Grammy winner perform to ‘prove’ the relationship was real.

‘Shall we demand it? I want to see p in v, I want to see insertion,’ Katz declared while Sollenberger debated whether Taylor was secretly pregnant.

Katz added: ‘Until then I think it’s fake, I think it’s for clicks and I think Taylor Swift is using the NFL to try to make her star bigger.’

Since Taylor has been attending games, the NFL’s viewership has increased astronomically and Travis’ jersey sales have also gone up.

The ‘comedy’ podcast has over 750 thousand to 1.5 million listeners per episode and is connected to online broadcaster Barstool Sports.

PMT’s X (formerly Twitter) account was even posting fun memes about Taylor attending the Sunday game before the comments emerged.

The over-a-minute long clip has garnered massive backlash, especially as Travis appeared on the show four months ago – days before heading to the Eras Tour.

Katz had called Travis an ‘awesome’ interviewee but fans have said these ‘misogynistic’ comments might have ruined any chance of the 33-year-old returning.

‘F**king weird behaviour. I hope Barstool just destroyed their relationship with @tkelce and he never goes on PMT again,’ wrote one viewer.

Another football fan said: ‘Disgusting. How are y’all stepping this low for clicks? Most of y’all have a daughter at home & y’all think it’s cool to say this as a “joke”.

‘Imagine being a grown man crying over Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s relationship. This is below sports at this point ???? Ban these dudes.’

A third person added: ‘Publicly demanding sexual favours from a women in return for simply allowing her to exist in a male-dominated space, implying to thousands of young men and boys that women should have to “pay a price” just for a seat at table…I’m disgusted, being a woman is so f**king exhausting.’

One viewer directly asked Katz if he found these comments ‘strange to say’ to which he replied: ‘No’.

He then resorted to trolling Swifties who criticised him, saying it was a ‘joke’ and added: ‘Hopefully [my daughter] has a sense of humour and understands when I’m clearly making a joke.’

Some viewers pointed out this was symptomatic of the rife misogyny involved in male centric sports, seen once again at Taylor’s expense at MetLife Stadium.

During the New York Giants game against the Seattle Seahawks, NFL fans booed her Eras Tour advert when it appeared on screen.

Taylor was not at this game as she has only been coming to see the Chiefs – and Travis – play and only been to two events so far.

Summing it up, one user wrote: ‘This is the culture & yet NFL execs scratch their heads wondering why they do not have female viewership.

‘Men are so absorbed in their locker room talk bubble that they cannot perceive women beyond something to be objectified & sexualised.’

Metro has contacted Taylor and Travis’ representatives for comment.
