PlayStation Now November plans leak with free PS Plus games

According to a series of new leaks, Mafia: Definitive Edition and Celeste will be among the new PlayStation Now games added to the service during November.

Sony is expected to reveal its plans for its subscription services later this week, and we already know that several big titles are being removed from PS Now.

Red Dead Redemption 2 and NieR: Automata will no longer be available to stream on November 2.

The news that Mafia: Definitive Edition and Celeste will be replacing them has gone down well with fans, who also found out what new PlayStation Plus games are being planned for next month.

According to the same source, Dealabs.com, the following PS4 and PS5 games will be part of the PlayStation Plus free games list in November:

  • Knockout City
  • The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners for PSVR
  • First Class Trouble
  • Kingdom of Amalur: Re-Reckoning.

And gamers have been sharing their thoughts on the different games and genres that will be arriving across both platforms.

One user subscriber writes: “Was excited until I saw “Now” instead of “Plus”. Now getting more exciting games while Plus gets worse and worse.

Another adds: “The Now lineup has been so much better than Plus for the last few months. My only major complaint has been no PS5 version of cross gen games.”

Unlike Final Fantasy 9, GTA 3 will be upgraded and offer a much more modern experience over its PS2 original.

A message from Rockstar Games explains: “Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition introduces wide-ranging modern control upgrades, including improvements to targeting and lock-on aiming, updated Weapon and Radio Station Wheels, updated Mini-Maps with enhanced navigation allowing players to set waypoints to destinations, updated Achievements, Trophies, and more.

“Additional enhancements across all three titles include a completely rebuilt lighting system; improved shadows, weather, and reflections; upgraded character and vehicle models; along with new higher resolution textures across buildings, weapons, roads, interiors, and more.”

More news regarding PS Now is expected to be shared before November 2, which is the date the new games are expected to arrive.
