Pirates played to a 1-1 draw with Sekhukhune United in their previous league encounter at the Orlando Stadium last Saturday.
Despite the draw, Bucs winger Deon Hotto was happy with the performance against Sekhukhune.
“As it was our final home game of the season, we did not get the result that we wanted. But it was a very good display. We know that we still have the final (Nedbank Cup) coming up, but I want to thank our supporters. They came in their numbers and they pushed us all the way,” said the Namibian international.
“But, yes, it was not the result that we wanted, but we are grateful for the one point we got. Now we are looking forward to our last game against AmaZulu.”
Dropping two points against Babina Noko has put the Buccaneers under pressure to win their last game of the season against Usuthu in order to cement their second spot on the league standings.
Pirates are in a tight race with SuperSport United for the runners-up spot.
The Sea Robbers are level on points with Matsatsantsa, and they will be looking to avoid any slip ups going into the Usuthu clash.
Bucs will be playing an Usuthu side that is safe from relegation and they are out of competing for a place in the top half of the table. The KwaZulu-Natal based team are in 12th spot on the log with 33 points.
