Piers Morgan says he’d be ‘incandescent’ over Harry’s ‘treachery’

Piers Morgan, 57, did not hold back in his latest rant about the Duke of Sussex as he raged that he is “completely deluded” following the bombshell revelations detailed in his memoir, Spare, and numerous sit-down interviews.

Piers was interviewed by former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, whose brother James is married to Pippa Middleton.

While appearing on his Big Fish podcast, Piers was asked whether he thinks Prince Harry “realises that he is causing damage to the royal family”.

Piers replied: “No, I think he’s completely deluded, very manipulated.

“I mean, [Harry and Meghan] are as bad as each other, to be honest with you. I think that he genuinely believes he can do all this.”

As for the royal family, Piers steadfastly believed that they should not apologise.

The TalkTV presenter continued: “[Harry and Meghan] are the ones doing all the trashing. They’re the ones that should be apologising, but I think it’s gone too far.

“I mean, if it was my family and my family was doing this constantly, we are way past the point of no return, as far as I’m concerned.

“I don’t know what the royal family thinks. I’ve got an idea what some of them think, because they’ve told me…But I just put myself in their shoes and how would I feel if that was one of my brothers doing this.

He wrote that he was deciding between wearing the Nazi costume or a pilot uniform.

He said: “I phoned Willy and Kate, asked what they thought. Nazi uniform, they said.

“They both howled. Worse than Willy’s leotard outfit! Way more ridiculous! Which, again, was the point.”

The royal family have not responded to any of the claims made in Spare, Harry’s string of TV interviews or his Netflix series with wife Meghan.
