Ahead of the launch of Uncensored, Caitlyn revealed she dropped out of speaking to Piers over his ‘repulsive misconduct’ after Donald Trump stormed out of his interview with the former Good Morning Britain presenter.
Skip forward, two days into Piers’ show, Piers and Caitlyn have made peace, which is bad news for GB News.
Sharing Caitlyn’s scathing tweet about Piers last week, the host tweeted today: ‘UPDATE: I had a great clear-the-air chat with Caitlyn on the phone last night and as a result, she will now be appearing exclusively on @PiersUncensored tomorrow night for an extended live interview.’
When one follower attempted to call Piers out by noting GB News ‘has her tonight so not an exclusive’, he put them in their place.
‘Sadly, I think you’lll find they no longer do,’ he replied.
Caitlyn is a notoriously outspoken Trump supporter who also regularly comes under fire for her viewers on trans women in sport.
All in all, it’s not hard to imagine what ground they’ll be covering.
Trump was the explosive first guest Piers welcomed to Uncensored, and brought in more than 400,000 for TalkTv’s launch night.
However, a day later, almost half that tuned in to watch the second part of the interview.
Even more concerning for TalkTV, Sharon Osbourne’s The Talk was beaten by GB News on its opening night and has already plummeted to 20,000 viewers two days in.
Piers Morgan: Uncensored airs weeknights at 9pm on TalkTv.
