Pete Davidson will reportedly complete 50 hours of community service after crashing his car into a Beverly Hills house earlier this year.

Last month, the LA County Attorney’s Office charged the 29-year-old actor on one count of reckless driving.

According to reports, the former Saturday Night Live star and his girlfriend – Chase Sui Wonders – were involved in the smash, with him behind the wheel of a Mercedes.

It is said the incident on March 4 at around 11pm happened when Pete was allegedly driving fast in a residential street before losing control.

Now, TMZ have reported that the Meet Cute star will do 12 hours of traffic school and 50 hours of community service.

On the night, police didn’t suspect drugs or alcohol to be involved, and Pete was not arrested.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office told the outlet: ‘Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision. We know that reckless driving can have devastating consequences.

‘In 2022, traffic fatalities in Los Angeles have reached the highest levels seen in 20 years.

‘This is an alarming trend that we cannot ignore. As a result, it’s crucial that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable.’

The DA’s office told PA news agency: ‘We believe that Mr Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home.’

It was recently revealed that Pete is receiving in-patient therapy and his friends and family are said to be supporting him every step of the way.

Pete often speaks frankly about his mental health issues and has sought help for post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder.

The star revealed he had borderline personality disorder in 2018.
