Partner Content | NBA parlay picks February 6: Back Milwaukee’s offence

There are 16 NBA teams in action on Monday, giving us plenty of options for a three-leg parlay.

The pregame narrative: The Milwaukee Bucks offence has levelled up with Khris Middleton back in the fold, Alperen Sengun has an enticing matchup and the Utah Jazz have a gift from the schedule makers.

Check out our NBA parlay picks for February 6.

Odds as of 9:54 a.m. on 02/06/2023.

NBA parlay picks

Parlay: Bucks over 123.5 points + Sengun over 16.5 points + Jazz -1.5 (+340)

Bucks over 123.5 points (-107): This is an aggressive line, there are no two ways about it.

That said, Milwaukee’s offence has been nothing short of dominant lately. Since Middleton returned to the lineup on January 23, the Bucks have averaged 126.6 points per game and gone over this line in four of seven games, falling short by a single point once.

Middleton’s minutes are limited, so he can’t take sole credit. But his ability to generate good looks in the half-court offence is essential for a team that can be too reliant on transition scoring and Giannis Antetokounmpo isolation plays at times.

Milwaukee’s opponent — the Portland Trail Blazers — ranks 16th in the NBA in scoring defence and will be without centre Jusuf Nurkic, who is the team’s best defensive player.

Other parlay legs

Sengun over 16.5 points (-124): Houston’s centre has taken a major step forward in his second year, and we love the matchup he’ll find himself in on Monday.

The Sacramento Kings allow the eighth-most points in the NBA and they are particularly vulnerable down low, conceding the third-most points in the paint.

They are also coming off a Sunday game in New Orleans, and have been on the road since January 28.

Sengun’s physicality should play well against a tired defence that doesn’t handle bruising big men even under normal circumstances.

Jazz -1.5 (-385): We’re going to finish this parlay off with an alternate spread that should be on the safe side while adding enough value to the payout to be a worthwhile addition.

Utah is an excellent home team that has an 18-10 record at Vivint Arena, outscoring opponents by an average of 4.7 points in Salt Lake City.

That’s a good baseline, but the reason we’re confident about this one is that the Dallas Mavericks are a mess right now. Luka Doncic is out with a heel injury, and they just traded away Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith for Kyrie Irving.

It’s unclear if Irving suits up just one day after a trade from Brooklyn, and even if he does he’ll find himself alongside unfamiliar teammates without a co-star. There’s a reason the standard spread on this game is -9.5.
