Oti told Radio Times: “The queen of the village was our mom’s great-great grandma!”

However, their mum, Dudu, is less accepting of the show’s findings than her famous daughters.

Reflecting on their time on the show, Motsi told the aforementioned publication: “I can say to my daughter, ‘That’s where you come from. If you’re doubting yourself any time, you can go back to South Africa. Your history is there’.”

Motsi shares her five-year-old daughter with husband Evgenij Voznyuk, with whom she has been married to since 2017.

Neil was taken into care when he was just 10 years old and knew very little about his family history.

The episode will see him travel to Castlecomer, Ireland, to reconnect with his cousin Marilyn.

Meanwhile, a DNA test reveals some shocking news for Adrian, before he hears about the heartbreaking struggles his grandmother faced.

DNA Journey airs Tuesday at 9pm on ITV.
