Oppo’s next flagship smartphone may come with a Kodak camera – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Oppo is set to partner with Kodak for its next flagship smartphone. According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, Oppo will use two of Sony‘s new IMX766 sensors in its next flagship smartphone.
As per the tipster, the smartphone maker is working with Kodak to produce a smartphone that will be a tribute to the classic Kodak camera design. So, the company is expected to use the new Sony IMX766 50MP sensor in the camera of the smartphone. Along with this, the new Oppo smartphone is also said to incorporate a large sensor in its ultrawide camera as well. The company is also said to include a 13MP telephoto lens and a 3MP microscope camera in the smartphone.
Apart from this, no other information about this upcoming smartphone is available right now.
Recently, Oppo revealed its plans for the rollout of ColorOS 12 based on Android 12. Oppo has confirmed that the ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 will be introduced by mid-to-late September. The company has also released downloadable official wallpapers of ColorOS 12. The wallpapers come with a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels.
Apart from the wallpaper, the company also posted a short video with various geometric shapes that form into the logo of the ColorOS 12. The wallpaper and the video hint at the colourful UI of ColorOS 12. On the other hand, the leakster, Digital Chat Station also posted an image of the ColorOS 12 that shows the UI on mobile phones, tablets and watches.
