Online registration of students for diploma courses in engineering and technology post class 10 begins in Maharashtra – Times of India

MUMBAI: With the class 10 results of state and non-state boards declared, the Maharashtra Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has launched a dedicated web portal for admission to diploma courses in engineering and technology for students who have passed class 10.
The online registration of students on the portal https://dte.maharashtra.gov.in began from June 1. Along with traditional engineering courses like civil, electrical, mechanical and computer science, new courses like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mechatronics; Automation and Robotics, Cloud Computing and Big Data Technologies, Cloud Computing and Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT) have been introduced and over 2,500 seats are available. The registration process will continue till June 21. Students completing the diploma will be eligible for direct second-year admission to engineering degree courses.
For students who have passed their class 12 exams, BankEdge, a private academy for banking and finance has introduced a three-year course ‘Finstream‘ to provide training and guidance for a career in the banking and finance industry. Students can simultaneously pursue their graduation in all streams. BankEdge CEO Santosh Joshi said there is a lot of pressure from families for graduates to seek employment. Students doing this course will be ready for the job market along with completing their graduation.”
