OnePlus 10 Pro is receiving a new OxygenOS 12 update – OxygenOS 12 A.14 – in India. The new OxygenOS update bumps the security patch to May 2022 for the OnePlus 10 Pro. The update further brings system stability along with some bug fixes. The OxygenOS 12 A.14 update is currently rolling out to users in India in a phased manner, so it will take some time before your OnePlus 10 Pro unit receives the new update.
The OxygenOs 12 A.14 build comes with firmware number NE2211_11.A.15. As mentioned before, the new build improves the system stability while fixing some common issues. The update fixes the issue where users have been experiencing stutter while the phone was connected to a Bluetooth car kit. The issue where noise occurs during the audio recording has also been fixed. Moreover, the company has also brought a fix for the issue of overexposure while recording HDR videos on the 10 Pro. The security patch is now also updated to May 2022.
Some users were reportedly receiving the A.15 build instead of the A.14 software update. However, OnePlus clarified that the updater picked up the A.15 build, which is said to be the test build and started rolling it out to the users. So, the company has advised users to wait for the OxygenOS 12 A.14 build.
OnePlus 10 Pro users in India will be gradually receiving the OxygenOS 12 A.14 update on their smartphones in the coming days. Users can check for the update in the System updates.
