The all-new Nothing Phone (2) will come in a new grey colour option. The smartphone will sport a flat display on the front and a slightly curved rear panel. The location of the LEDs on the rear panel is the same as its predecessor Nothing Phone (1). However, the centre part of the Nothing Phone (2) will have 6 separations and 33 addressable LED lighting zones. The top right part of the smartphone will have 16 customisable lighting zones.
What the LEDs on Nothing Phone (2) indicate
The Nothing Phone (2) has a volume indicator LED that lights up when you increase or decrease the volume. The Timer LED on the back of the phone lights up in time with the timer. One of the LEDs on the back also lights up to show your progress in Uber and Zomato. You can also set up app notification LEDs that will light up when you receive a notification from an app. When you plug in a wired charger, the lower LEDs light up to show the progress of the charging.
