Nokia C12 entry-level Android smartphone launched in India: Price, specs and more – Times of India

Nokia C12 Plus is here. HMD Global, the company which holds the license to manufacture Nokia Branded smartphones, has launched a new entry-level smartphone in India. Nokia C12 Plus is the third smartphone in the series which already offers Nokia C12 and Nokia C12 Pro. Powered by Unisoc chipset the smartphone runs Android 12 Go Edition. The affordable Nokia smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh battery and comes with dual SIM connectivity.
Price and availability
Nokia C12 Plus comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999 for the lone 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The smartphone is listed on the official Nokia website but the smartphone maker has not yet revealed the availability details of the smartphone.

Nokia C12 Plus comes with a 6.3-inch HD+ display with 1520×720 pixel resolution. The smartphone features a water drop display which houses the selfie camera. The entry-level Android smartphone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset.
Nokia C12 Plus comes with dual SIM support and it runs Android 12 Go Edition. The smartphone sports an 8MP single-lens rear camera with LED flash. There’s also a 5MP front camera for selfies. The smartphone packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card.

Recently, Nokia introduced its latest design system — Nokia Pure. According to Nokia, the new design is aimed at creating digital products that are future-proof. This design incorporates various elements and guidelines that prioritise a minimal and “fresh” style, in line with the logo reveal from a month ago, to enhance the user experience.
In designing the new UI, Nokia focused on several details, such as revamping the software icons, which had the typical Android look in Nokia smartphones. With the Pure UI, the icons and typefaces underwent a thoughtful redesign, emphasising flexible strokes that can adjust to various hardware platform sizes.
