Nick Hendrix’s wife who you may recognise from Endeavour and The Bill

Midsomer Murders is one of the most popular and longest running ITV shows in history.

Given the history and legacy of the show, it is unsurprising that the crime drama has a dedicated fan base that tunes in each and every week.

One of the more recent additions to the TV show is actor Nick Hendrix who plays DS Jamie Winter.

Nick, 36, joined the show for its 19th series which first began in 2016.

Although viewers may now be familiar with the characters of DS Winter, they may know less about the actor behind the character.

Nick was born in Berkshire in 1985 and grew up near Windsor.

Before taking the world of acting by storm, Nick trained at the esteemed drama school RADA from which he graduated in 2010.

An interesting fact about Nick is that he is not the only famous face in his family – he is the nephew of journalist and newscaster Alastair Stewart.

Nick has also been married to fellow actor Jessica Ellerby since July 2017.
